Scapa Skiren Orkney Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 40% by volume

The Scapa Distillery, founded in 1885, is in the immediate vicinity of the Highland Park Distillery. By Scottish standards, the distillery produces relatively little single malt whisky, which makes bottlings from Scapa rather rare. Scapa has been burning continuously again since 2004 after extensive renovations, in which production was discontinued in places or taken over by employees of the Highland Park Distillery.

Scapa Skiren matured in ex-bourbon casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled at a mild 40% ABV. Alcohol.

Aroma: Floral and fresh with grassy notes, ripe fruit, mix of sweetness and spice.

Palate: Sweet with honey and caramel, peaches and nectarines, green apples, delicate oak.
