Oban 10 Years Special Release 2022 0.7l, alc. 57.1 Vol.-%

The Oban Distillery was founded in 1794 in the town of the same name. The distillery is one of the few remaining that is located in the city itself and does not produce outside. Oban forms the boundary between the Scottish Highlands and Islands, both geographically and in terms of the character of the single malt itself. Bottling of the distillery are rather rare. Oban is known for its 14-year-old single malt. which is part of the Classic Malts range.

Oban 10 years first matured in former bourbon casks and then received a post-maturation in a combination of sherry and amontillado casks . Bottled with a strong 57.1 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Fresh with light citrus fruits, hints of salt, delicately spicy peat smoke with an underlying sweetness.

Taste: Creamy sweetness, peppery spiciness with some chili, ripe plums and dry oak.
