Macallan 12 years Sherry Oak 0.7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

Macallan Distillery, located in the town of Craigellachie on the banks of the River Spey, was one of the first legal distilleries in Scotland. Founded in 1824, Macallan is now one of the largest producers of single malt whiskey in Scotland. Old bottlings regularly achieve record sums at auctions worldwide. Since 2017, the new distillery has been producing on a total of 36 stills.

Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Oak matured the entire time in ex-sherry casks made from European oak. Bottled at a mild 40 vol. % alcohol, without coloring.

Nose: Toasted grains, hints of ripe and dried fruit, spices and chocolatey oak.

Taste: Sweet with toffee and vanilla, pears and dried fruits, some pepper with a nutty oak note.
