Loch Lomond Steam & Fire Single Malt 0.7l alc. 46 Vol.-%

The Loch Lomond distillery was founded in 1964 on the lake of the same name near the town of Alexandria. The distillery is very diverse in the production of whiskey. Be it through the malt (smoky and non-smoky) as well as the various systems used to produce a whiskey. In addition to pot stills, the distillery has a few other stills: Lomond stills, since 1993 Coffey stills for grain whiskey and column stills.

Loch Lomond Steam & Fire first matured in first fill bourbon barrels and refill American oak barrels , then received further maturation in first fill heavily recharred American oak barrels . Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, not cold filtered.

Aroma: Hints of caramel, apples, vanilla and cinnamon.

Taste: Silky smooth with orange, peach and jam, as well as notes of coffee, brown sugar and roasted marshmallows.
