Loch Lomond Original Single Malt 0.7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

The Loch Lomond distillery was founded in 1964 on the lake of the same name near the town of Alexandria. The distillery is very diverse in the production of whiskey. Be it through the malt (smoky and non-smoky) as well as through the different systems used to produce a whiskey. In addition to pot stills, the distillery has a few other stills: Lomond stills, since 1993 Coffey stills for grain whiskey and column stills.

Loch Lomond Original matured in ex-bourbon casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled at a mild 40 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Malty and sweet with a delicate fruitiness, dry nuts and some oak.

Taste: Citrus accentuated, grainy, hints of leather and walnut, some vanilla.
