Loch Lomond 12 years Single Malt 0.7l alc. 46 Vol.-%

The Loch Lomond distillery was founded in 1964 on the lake of the same name near the town of Alexandria. The distillery is very diverse in the production of whiskey. Be it through the malt (smoky and non-smoky) as well as through the different systems used to produce a whiskey. In addition to pot stills, the distillery has a few other stills: Lomond stills, since 1993 Coffey stills for grain whiskey and column stills.

Loch Lomond 12 Year Old matured the entire time in ex-bourbon casks and remanufactured casks. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, not chill filtered.

Aroma: Sweet and grainy with fruits, dry nuts, honey, some oak and a hint of marzipan.

Taste: Fruity with peaches, pears and malt, pleasant note of spices with a mildly ending sweetness.
