Kilchoman Sauternes Cask 2024 0,7l, alc. 50 Vol.-%

When the Kilchoman distillery opened in 2005, it was the first new distillery on the Scottish island of Islay in 124 years. At Kilchoman, a relatively high value is placed on regionality and craftsmanship. The barley used in production is partly grown near the distillery and The distillery's single malts delight fans of smoky whisky all over the world, which means that Kilchoman is expanding bit by bit.

Kilchoman Sauternes 2024 matured for an unspecified time in Sauternes wine barrels. Bottled at 50% vol. alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Creamy, buttery notes with ripe fruit, a hint of salty air and subtle peat smoke.

Taste: Butterscotch and floral notes combine with tropical and candied fruits and a hint of peat smoke.
