Kilchoman Sanaig Islay Single Malt 0.7l, alc. 46 Vol.-%

When Kilchoman Distillery opened in 2005, it was the first new distillery on the Scottish island of Islay in 124 years. At Kilchoman, a relatively high value is placed on regionality and craftsmanship. A certain amount of the barley used for production is grown near the distillery and kilned on our own malt floors. The distillery's single malts delight fans of the smoky whiskey around the world, which means that Kilchoman is gradually expanding.

Kilchoman Sanaig matured for an undefined period of time in a combination of former bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled at 46% vol. Alcohol, without coloring and not cold filtered.

Aroma: Maritime smokiness with chocolatey oak, herbs and hints of dark fruits.

Taste: Spicy with herbs and thyme, caramel and nougat chocolate, maritime smoky.
