Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2023 0.7l, alc. 46 Vol.-%

When Kilchoman distillery opened in 2005, it was the first new distillery on the Scottish island of Islay in 124 years. At Kilchoman, a relatively high value is placed on regionality and craftsmanship. A certain proportion of the barley used for production is grown near the distillery and kilned on our own malting floors. The distillery's single malts delight fans of the smoky whiskey around the world, which means that Kilchoman is gradually expanding.

Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2023 matured for an undefined period in ex-Oloroso sherry casks from the renowned Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin. Bottled at 46% ABV. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: hints of cocoa, leather, dark fruity with black cherries and light smoke, herbal.

Taste: Roasted hazelnuts, dark chocolate and preserved dark fruit with a light ashy peat smoke.
