Kavalan Concertmaster Port Cask Finish 0.7l, alc. 40% by volume

Founded in 1956, King Car Group is an influential company in Taiwan's food industry. After Taiwan joined the World Trade Organization WTO in 2002 and the state monopoly on spirits fell, TT Lee, owner and founder of the King Car Group, fulfilled a dream by building a whiskey distillery. Construction began in April 2006, and nine months later production of the Kavalan single malt whiskey.

Kavalan Concertmaster Port Cask Finish first matured in a combination of former bourbon, sherry and wine casks for an undefined period of time and then received post-maturation in former port wine casks. Bottled at a mild 40 vol. % alcohol, without coloring.

Aroma: Grainy and creamy sweet with tart-sweet fruits, nuts and dry wood.

Taste: Mixture of sweet and spicy, hints of red berries and dark chocolate, vinous.
