Johnnie Walker Double Black 0.7l, alc. 40% by volume

After his father's death in 1819, John Walker and his mother sold the family farm near the Scottish town of Kilmarnock and used the proceeds to open a local general store. After a while, the range of the shop was expanded to include whisky. John experimentally applied blending methods used for tea at the time to whiskey. Today, Johnnie Walker is the best-selling Scotch whiskey in the world .

Johnnie Walker Double Black matured in oak casks for an unspecified time. Bottled at a mild 40 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Light and maritime with dry oak, honey and peat smoke, hearty grain.

Taste: Grainy with sweet smoke and herbal honey, somewhat mineral with hints of tar.
