Many Scottish distilleries produce exclusively for the blend industry and therefore do not have their own single malt whiskey in their range. The background to the so-called Flora & Fauna series is to create an original bottling from precisely such distilleries in order to make their specific character accessible to connoisseurs.
Inchgower 14 years old comes from Speyside in Scotland and matured in ex-bourbon casks for 14 years. Bottled at 43 vol. % alcohol.
Aroma: Spicy, dry wood notes, nutmeg with an underlying maltiness and pear.
Taste: Malty sweetness, some honey, dry nuttiness with an aromatic oak note.
