The Grace O'Malley whiskeys are a tribute to the Irish pirate queen Grainne Ní Mháille/Grace O'Malley. Grace (1530 – 1603) is an Irish heroine, a daring navigator and sailor who became a pirate feared by the English. Inspired by her wild life and her courageous character, Grace O'Malley spirits were created.
Grace O'Malley Dark Char Cask first matured in oak barrels for an undefined period of time and was then further matured in heavily burnt barrels. Bottled at 42% ABV. Alcohol.
Aroma: Ripe citrus notes with roasted grains, spicy notes, sweetness and oak.
Taste: Mix of sweet and spicy, robust grain with orange and distinctive roasted notes.
