Glenturret Sherry 0.7l, alc. 43 Vol.-%

Glenturret is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland. Whiskey is said to have been illegally distilled here as early as 1717. The current distillery dates back to 1775. The distillery produces both smoky and non-smoky single malt whiskey and is also known worldwide as the "Home of the Famous Grouse". Glenturret is also known for Towser the house cat, which made it into the Guinness Book of World Records: she lived to an almost biblical age for cats at almost 24 years and is said to have killed 28,899 mice in that time.

Glenturret Sherry matured in ex-sherry casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled at 43 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Malty with brown sugar, citrus notes and a hint of hazelnut.

Taste: Sweet with sponge cake, malt sugar and green apples, slightly dry oak note.
