Glenmorangie Signet 0.7l, alc. 46 Vol.-%

Evidence of (illegal) whiskey distilling in the region around the town of Tain dates back to around 1700, but legal whiskey has only been produced at the Glenmorangie Distillery since 1843. The distillery was the first to begin maturing its whiskey in other barrels on a large scale. Over the years, the distillery has been expanded several times, but the small but tall stills, which are unique in their shape throughout Scotland, have remained consciously.

Glenmorangie Signet matured for an undefined period in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks and casks made of fresh American white oak (Virgin Oak). Bottled at 46% vol. Alcohol.

Aroma: Hints of espresso, vanilla and dark fruits, delicate sherry and citrus.

Taste: Sweet with honey and vanilla, dried apricots and plums, spicy dry oak and mocha chocolate.
