The history of the Glenlivet distillery is impressive. Founded in 1824 by George Smith as Scotland's first legally producing distillery, Glenlivet made a name for itself in the region of the same name. Many other distilleries sprouted up almost overnight through the licensing and used the name “Glenlivet” in order to share in the success of the distillery founded by George Smith. Today, Glenlivet is one of the most successful Scottish distilleries in the world, alongside Macallan and Glenfiddich.

Glenlivet 18 Years Batch Reserve matured the entire time in a combination of former bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled with a mild 40% vol. Alcohol.

Aroma: Nutty notes with chocolatey oak, ripe fruits and orange peel, spices and sweetness.

Taste: Spicy with hazelnuts and baked apple, creamy caramel with orange jam and dry oak.
