The history of the Glenlivet distillery is impressive. Founded in 1824 by George Smith as the first legally producing distillery in Scotland, Glenlivet made a name for itself in the region of the same name. Many other distilleries sprung up almost overnight as a result of the licensing agreements and use the name "Glenlivet" in their own way to share in the success of the distillery founded by George Smith. Today, alongside Macallan and Glenfiddich, Glenlivet is one of the most successful Scottish distilleries in the world.

Glenlivet 13 Years First Fill American Oak matured the entire time in ex-bourbon casks. Bottled at a mild 40% ABV. Alcohol.

Aroma: Floral notes, sour fruits, roasted hazelnuts and some dry, spicy oak.

Palate: Sweetness and spiciness mixed with vanilla and nutmeg, oranges and coconut.
