Glenfiddich Project XX 0.7l, alc. 47 Vol.-%

The Glenfiddich Distillery was built by William Grant between 1886 and 1887 and began production on Boxing Day 1887. In 1892, the founder took a break from managing the Glenfiddich Distillery to establish the nearby Balvenie Distillery, also still owned by William Grant & Sons. In 1963, the distinctive three-sided Glenfiddich bottle was introduced. In the same year, the distillery also launched the first official single malt whiskey ever.

Glenfiddich Project XX matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, sherry and port casks for an undefined period. Bottled at a strong 47% ABV. Alcohol, not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Sweet with ripe berries, vanilla and a hint of licorice, mild oak.

Taste: Candied fruit, sweet with toffee and vanilla, delicate fruit acidity, cinnamon and milk chocolate.
