The Glenfiddich Distillery was built by William Grant between 1886 and 1887 and began production on Boxing Day 1887. In 1892 the founder took a break from managing Glenfiddich Distillery to establish the nearby Balvenie distillery, also still owned by William Grant & Sons. In 1963, the distinctive three-sided Glenfiddich bottle was introduced. In the same year, the distillery also launched the first official single malt whiskey ever.

Glenfiddich 30 years matured the entire time in a combination of American and European oak casks. Bottled at 43% vol. Alcohol.

Flavor: Creamy Vanilla with mint and ripe apples, supported by dark chocolate and clear oak.

Taste: Intensely spicy with nutmeg, sweet and creamy with custard and dark chocolate, ripe fruity.
