The Glenfarclas distillery was founded in 1836 by Robert Hay in Speyside, Scotland and was licensed to distill whiskey in 1844. In 1865 the distillery was sold to John Grant, whose descendants later renovated the distillery and still own it today. Glenfarclas is known for its single malts, which mature entirely in ex-sherry casks. Hardly any Scottish distillery has such an extensive range of different bottlings.

Glenfarclas 105 matured in ex-sherry casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled at a strong 60% vol. Alcohol, no coloring, not chill-filtered.

Nose: Aromatic spice notes with fruity sweetness, charred oak and hints of chocolate.

Taste: Sweet with brown sugar, plums and ripe pears, some pepper and slightly dry oak.
