Founded in 1897, Glen Moray Distillery is to the west of the town of Elgin. Located on the banks of the River Lossie, the origins of the building in which the distillery produces can be traced back to a brewery. Glen Moray means something like "Valley of the Settlement by the Lake". The distillery is known for its single malts, which matured and then matured in a wide variety of cask types.

Glen Moray 18 years matured the entire time in ex-bourbon casks. Bottled at 47.2 vol. % alcohol, not chill filtered.

Aroma: Orange and zest, delicate herbal note, floral with barley malt and slightly dry oak.

Taste: Sweet with vanilla and caramel, tart notes of grain, pear peel and orange, nutty.
