Glen Moray 10 years Fired Oak 0.7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

To the west of the city of Elgin you will find the Glen Moray Distillery, founded in 1897. Located on the banks of the River Lossie, the building in which the distillery produces its whisky dates back to a brewery. Glen Moray translates as "valley of the settlement by the lake". The distillery is known for its single malts, which are matured and then aged in a wide variety of cask types.

Glen Moray 10 Years Fired Oak was first matured in former bourbon barrels and then further matured in heavily burnt oak barrels (virgin oak). Filled with a mild 40% alcohol by volume.

Aroma: Creamy sweetness with underlying spiciness, ripe fruit and fresh oak.

Taste: Sweet with caramel, spicy with pepper, pears and apples, some liquorice and roasted notes.
