The Deanston Distillery was founded in 1965 in the town of the same name in the Southern Highlands. Production is based in a cotton mill from the 18th century and partly uses organically grown barley. Deanston 10 years first matured in ex-bourbon casks before maturing in Bordeaux red wine casks. Bottled at 46.3 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not cold filtered.
Aroma: Aromatic wine notes with grapes, toffee and malt, slightly dry oak.
