Deanston 10 years Bordeaux Red Wine Cask 0.7l alc. 46.3 Vol.-%

The Deanston Distillery was founded in 1965 in the town of the same name in the Southern Highlands. Production is based in a cotton mill from the 18th century and partly uses organically grown barley. The distillery gets its electricity from a power station that dams the water of the River Teith a few miles away .

Deanston 10 years first matured in ex-bourbon casks before maturing in Bordeaux red wine casks. Bottled at 46.3 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not cold filtered.

Aroma: Aromatic wine notes with grapes, toffee and malt, slightly dry oak.

Taste: Fruity with red berries and grapes, grainy with vanilla, a hint of chocolate and wood.
