Not far from the Speyside Cooperage, in the small town of Craigellachie, is the distillery of the same name, which was founded in 1891 and translates to "rock mountain". Atypically, the Craigellachie Distillery bottles its single malts with odd age statements. The whiskey produced there is also one of the main components of Dewar's Blends.

Craigellachie 17 years matured the entire time in oak barrels. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not cold filtered.

Aroma: Fruity with a pleasant spiciness and creamy sweetness, subtle oak notes.

Taste: Ripe apples and pears with hints of apricot and caramel, aromatic spices and slightly dry oak.
