The original Clynelish Distillery was founded in 1819. It was not until 1967 that a second distillery was built right next to the old, aging distillery. At times, the distilleries produced in parallel as Clynelish A and Clynelish B. After the old distillery was closed for a short time, both distilleries started up again a short time later. The old one got the name Brora, the new one stayed Clynelish. In 1983 the old Brora Distillery was finally closed. While Clynelish has established itself over the past 40 years with the quality produced there, Brora experienced a rebirth in May 2021 and has been producing again since then.

Clynelish 14 years matured the entire time in ex-bourbon casks. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Sugary sweetness, nashi pear with hints of candle wax, honey, spices and herbs.

Taste: Grassy freshness, malty with honey, caramel, mild spices and nutty oak.
