Cask Orkney 15 Years AD Rattray Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 46% by volume

AD Rattray was founded in 1868 by Andrew Dewar Rattray and originally began as an importer of French wines, Italian spirits and olive oil. However, the company later established itself as a specialist in the field of blending and the storage of malt and grain whiskeys. After the death of the founder, the company went to a capable whiskey broker named William Walker, whose daughter later married and ensured the continued existence of the company - to this day.

Cask Orkney 15 Year Old comes from an undisclosed distillery on the Scottish island of Orkney and matured in ex-bourbon casks. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Green apples and pear skin, delicately smoky with spices and floral notes, mild sweetness and wood.

Taste: Sweet with caramel and peaches, mildly spicy with hints of heather and a hint of smoke.
