Caol Ila Moch Islay Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 43% by volume

Located in a bay on the Scottish island of Islay, Caol Ila Distillery translates to "The Strait of Islay". Founded in 1846, the distillery is now the largest on the island. Equipped with the latest technology, Caol Ila produces both the smoky part in many Johnnie Walker bottlings and its own single malts. The distillery is quite popular with many independent bottlers, as the high output of the production leads to a good availability of casks.

Caol Ila Moch matured in ex-bourbon casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled at 43 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Maritime freshness, herbal notes, oily peat smoke, sweet and delicately nutty.

Taste: Herbal sweets, maritime peat smoke with some oak and iodine.
