The Black Bottle brand was started by the Graham brothers in the early 20th century. The characteristic and deep black glass bottle was designed by a German glass manufacturer at the time. Due to the First World War, however, the whiskey was temporarily bottled in green bottles. Today Black Bottle is sold again in its old design. The classic blend combines Islay malts with Highland, Speyside and Lowland whiskeys, which are blended with mild grain whiskeys.

Partially composed of a whiskey distilled in 1984, Black Bottle Island Smoke is dedicated overall to the smoky and maritime characteristics of the Scottish islands. Bottled at a mild 40% ABV. Alcohol.

Aroma: Maritime notes, spices with a subliminal smoky note, delicate sweetness and some oak.

Taste: Sweetness and spice in the mix, fresh notes, slight smokiness with hints of salted caramel.
