Auchentoshan American Oak 0.7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

Founded in 1825 just outside Glasgow, the Auchentoshan distillery produces single malt whiskey that is triple distilled. What is more typical in Ireland is less common in Scotland. A triple distillation allows the spirit and later whiskey to mature very mildly, which makes Auchentoshan, translated as “corner of the field”, particularly popular with beginners.

Auchentoshan American Oak matured for an undefined time in former bourbon barrels, bottled at a mild 40 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Citrus fruits and pear, vanilla and a hint of coconut, malty, grassy freshness.

Taste: Mild and sweet with a slightly dry grain note, pears and apples, delicate oak.
