The Lochranza distillery, which bore the name Arran Distillery until 2020, was founded in 1995 and is located in the town of Lochranza on the Isle of Arran. Under the name of the island, the distillery currently sells single malts that are produced both with and without peat smoke. In the future, however, the smoky production will move to the new Lagg Distillery, which was newly built in the south of the island.

Arran Quarter Cask The Bothy matured in ex-bourbon casks for an indefinite period of time and was then finished in quarter casks made from American white oak. Bottled at a strong 56.2% ABV. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Fresh notes of oak, spicy with a subtle sweetness, hints of fruit and a hint of chili.

Taste: Peppery and woody with vanilla, hints of tropical fruits, cereals.
