Arran Machrie Moor 0.7l, alc. 46% by volume

The Lochranza distillery, which was called Arran Distillery until 2020, was founded in 1995 and is located in the town of Lochranza on the Isle of Arran. Under the name of the island, the distillery currently sells single malts that are produced both with and without peat smoke. In the future, however, the smoky production will move to the new Lagg Distillery, which was newly built in the south of the island.

Machrie Moor matured for an undefined period in ex-bourbon casks and is 46% vol. Bottled alcohol. Without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Slight smokiness with fresh citrus notes, unripe pear, barley malt.

Taste: Hints of coconut and herbs, mild sweetness with delicate peat smoke and smoky grain.
