Arran Amarone Cask Finish 0.7l, alc. 50% by volume

The Lochranza distillery, which bore the name Arran Distillery until 2020, was founded in 1995 and is located in the town of Lochranza on the Isle of Arran. Under the name of the island, the distillery currently sells single malts that are produced both with and without peat smoke. In the future, however, the smoky production will move to the new Lagg Distillery, which was newly built in the south of the island.

Arran Amarone Cask Finish matured in ex-bourbon casks for an undefined period of time and then received a post-maturation in Amarone casks. Bottled at a strong 50% ABV. bottled alcohol. Without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Sweet and fruity with toasty aromas, hints of almonds, some coffee and dry wood.

Taste: Fruity with ripe pears and cranberries, caramel and spices, dry grain, cinnamon.
