The Lochranza distillery, which was called Arran Distillery until 2020, was founded in 1995 and is located in the town of Lochranza on the Isle of Arran. The distillery currently sells single malts under the name of the island, which are produced both with and without peat smoke. In future, however, the smoky production will move to the new Lagg Distillery, which has been built in the south of the island. 

Arran 10 Jahre reifte die komplette Zeit in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern. Abgefüllt mit 46 vol. % Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff und nicht kältefiltriert.

 

Aroma: Fruchtig mit Banane und Kiwi, milden Gewürzen, zarter Vanille und einem Hauch frischer Eiche.

Geschmack: Würze und Süße im Mix, reife Früchte mit exotischem Einschlag, Karamell, aromatisches Eichenholz.
