French champagne house GH Mumm was founded in 1827 by four German immigrants, three of whom were the Mumm brothers. With a focus on the best quality from the very beginning, GH Mumm has become the third largest champagne producer to date. The name Grand Cordon refers to the ribbon of honor of the French Foreign Legion, which has adorned Mumm champagne since 1876 and is called "Cordon Rouge" in French.
Aroma: Intense fruit aromas, fresh strawberries, cherries, red currants, vanilla, caramel.
Palate: Lively, energetic, perfectly dry, hints of summer fruits.
