Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon 0.7l, alc. 45% vol.

Maker's Mark is unusual in many ways. For example, by spelling the word whiskey without the "e", as is usual for Kentucky bourbon. On the other hand, rye is not used within the grain. Maker's Mark is sold in square bottles sealed with red wax. The founder's wife once gave the whiskey its name, drew the label and dreamed up the wax dipping of the bottles, which gives the bottle its distinctive look.

Maker's Mark matured in fresh American white oak barrels (Virgin Oak) for an undefined period of time. Bottled at 45% ABV. Alcohol, without dye.

Aroma: Sweet with vanilla and honey, cocoa, dry oak note, mildly spicy.

Taste: Spicy with cloves, sweet vanilla, toffee, nutty oak, emphasis on grain.
