Jack Daniel’s Bonded Tennessee Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 50 Vol.-%

Lynchburg, Tennessee has just over 5,000 residents, but is world-famous for the Jack Daniel's distillery. With a production of around 90 million liters per year, Jack Daniel's is the best-selling American whiskey brand worldwide. Unlike American whiskey distilleries and brands, which have changed hands frequently since the 19th century, Jack Daniel's was sold only once. The Motlow brothers, Jack Daniel's great-nephews, sold the company to the Brown-Forman corporation in 1956.

Only American spirits - usually whiskey - that meet certain criteria are allowed to bear the label "Bottled in Bond". These were passed in the Bottled-in-Bond Act 1897. This award was only given to whiskeys that were aged for at least four years in government-monitored bonded warehouses, came from a single distillery and a single vintage, and were bottled at 50% ABV.

Aroma: Sweet and creamy with syrup and toffee, accompanied by spices and dry oak, some ginger.

Taste: Mix of spicy and sweet with cloves and caramel, hints of banana and maple syrup, oak.
