Tyrconnell Single Malt Irish Whiskey 0,7l, alc. 43 Vol.-%

In 1987, John Teeling acquired a former distillery called Ceimici Teoranta Distillery, which was owned by the state and produced potato distillates. After renaming it the Cooley Distillery, he equipped the distillery to produce both single malt and single grain. With the acquisition of the old Kilbeggan Distillery, John Teeling created space to store the whiskeys produced at Cooley Distillery. 

Tyrconnell matured for an undefined period in ex-bourbon casks. Bottled with 43 % vol. alcohol.

Aroma: Malty and slightly sweet with green apples, delicate herbs and a hint of oak.

Taste: Malt sugar and honey, pears and apples, some orange peel, dry oak.
