Michael Molloy founded the original Tullamore Distillery in 1829 in the town of the same name. The later managing director Daniel Edmond Williams began his apprenticeship as a whiskey distiller at the distillery in 1862 and created the brand name that is still known today in 1887 by adding his initials DEW - Tullamore DEW
Tullamore Dew Caribbean Rum Cask Finish first matured in oak casks for an undefined period of time and then received a post-maturation in rum casks. Bottled at 43% vol. Alcohol.
Aroma: Hearty grain with sugary sweetness, some fruit, caramel and dry oak.
Taste: Sweet and dry grain with a tart and spicy note of oak and unripe bananas.
