Michael Molloy founded the original Tullamore Distillery in 1829 in the town of the same name. The later managing director Daniel Edmond Williams began his apprenticeship as a whiskey distiller at the distillery in 1862 and created the brand name that is still known today in 1887 by adding his initials DEW - Tullamore DEW
Tullamore Dew Rouge 13 Years Old first matured in a combination of former bourbon and sherry casks and then received a post-maturation in red wine casks. Bottled at a mild 40% ABV. Alcohol.
Aroma: Covered floral notes with violets, creamy sweetness, delicate spices and berries.
Taste: Spicy with nutmeg, sweet vanilla, red berries and ripe fruit, some oak.
