Michael Molloy founded the original Tullamore Distillery in 1829 in the town of the same name. The later managing director Daniel Edmond Williams began his apprenticeship as a whiskey distiller at the distillery in 1862 and in 1887 created the brand name that is still known today by adding his initials DEW - Tullamore DEW
Tullamore Dew Cider Cask Finish first matured in former bourbon barrels for an undefined period of time and was then further matured in cider barrels. Bottled at a mild 40% ABV. Alcohol.
Aroma: Tart grain note with delicate sweetness, ripe fruit notes, some oak.
Taste: Sweet and sour with apple and peel, pithy grain and dry wood.
