Oro de Oaxaca Mezcal is one of the most famous brands in Mexico. The producer, Casa Mezcal Oro de Oaxaca, is a family business based in Santiago Matatlán with over 80 years of experience in the distillery trade and has been striving to perfect the production of mezcal since 1940.
Aroma: Spicy, with a subtle smoky character. Aromas of wood and citrus fruits.
Taste: Surprisingly mild, warm, pleasantly smoky and sweet. The taste of caramelized agave is skilfully combined with notes of herbs, lemon, oak and a hint of pepper.
