The Talisker distillery was established on the Isle of Skye in Scotland in 1831. The name is derived from the Talisker House estate, which is located a few miles to the west in the mountains. After a fire in 1960, which destroyed almost the entire distillery, Talisker was faithfully rebuilt a few years later. The breathtaking landscape of Skye attracts countless tourists to the distillery every year, many of whom are enthusiastic about the distillery's peppery, smoky single malt.

Talisker 8 Jahre reifte die komplette Zeit in Eichenholzfässern. Abgefüllt mit kräftigen 59,7 vol. % Alkohol.

Aroma: Malzbetont mit leichter Süße, maritime Noten, erdig mit würzigem Torfrauch.

Geschmack: Puderzuckrige Süße mit floralen Noten, pfeffriger Würzigkeit und maritimen Rauchnoten.
