Michel Couvreur is a wine and spirits merchant from Burgundy, France, who buys high-quality wine casks (especially sherry casks from Spain) and Scottish distillate on the other hand, in order to fill these casks with the New Make in France. Since the bottling does not take place in Scotland, the finished whiskey cannot be called Scotch. In addition, Michel Couvreur does not name the distillery on his labels because he is convinced of the meaningfulness of his products - independent of a specific distillery.

Michel Couvreur Overaged Natural Strength matured in ex-sherry casks for 12 to 27 years. Bottled at a strong 52% ABV. Alcohol, without dye.

Aroma: Malty with aromatic sweetness, dark dried fruit, delicately spicy with chocolatey oak.

Taste: Sweet with brown sugar, delicately spicy, smoked malt and sultanas, nutty chocolate, oak.
