Glen Breton 10 Years Canadian Single Malt Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 43% by volume

Bruce Jardin can definitely be seen as a pioneer when it comes to Canadian single malt, as he traveled to Scotland to acquire know-how and equipment. He succeeded and started production in Cape Breton, in the highlands of Nova Scotia, in 1990. The first own single malt whiskey appeared in 2000 and was 8 years old. A 9-year-old followed later. Glen Breton's flagship is now 10 years old.

Glen Breton 10 years matured the entire time in ex-bourbon casks. Bottled at a mild 40 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Mixture of sweetness and spice, ripe fruit notes, orange peel and slightly nutty oak.

Taste: Fruity with oranges and hints of cherries, sweet honey and vanilla, malty.
