Box Early Days Batch 002 Swedish Single Malt Whiskey 0.5l, alc. 51.5% by volume

High Coast Distillery, formerly Box Distillery, is a whiskey distillery in Sweden. Housed in a former cardboard box factory, the distillery produces both smoky and non-smoky single malt whiskey on pot stills that are modeled on the shape of the Kilchoman distillery on the Scottish island of Islay. High Coast matures its single malt in casks of different sizes with a wide variety of pre-assignments.

Box Early Days Batch 002 matured in ex-bourbon casks from September 2011 to March 2016. Bottled at 51.5% ABV. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Sweet and fruity with a delicate herbal note and some earthy peat smoke.

Taste: Fruity with pear and green apple, peppery with herbal honey, dry and smoky.
