Abasolo is made from only the finest non-GMO cacahuazintle corn, grown by local farmers in Mexico for hundreds of years. A 4,000-year-old cooking process transforms the corn into a unique mash that is then double-distilled on copper stills. The maturation then takes place in new and pre-allocated barrels.
Abasolo Mexican Corn Whiskey matured in oak casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled at 43% vol. Alcohol.
Nose: Roasted corn, sweet with honey and vanilla, hints of chamomile tea and leather.
Taste: Black tea with roasted notes and sweet creaminess, vanilla and toffee, delicately woody.
