Grappa Stravecchia, a symbol of culture, dedication and the art of distilling. Grappa Stravecchia is created by distilling five Trentino pomaces: Marzemino, Teroldego, Merlot, Muscat and Chardonnay, which are heated in a water bath and then passed through non-sequential stills. It is aged in small barrels made of cherry, ash, oak and locust wood, which give the distillate their typical characteristics of scent, aroma, color and flavor.
The length of the aging process reflects the rhythms of nature: 18 full moons pass, i.e. 18 months. The aroma becomes intense, ethereal and harmonious. The taste becomes rounded, leaving a pleasantly silky sensation on the palate. The master distiller oversees the aging process until the ideal blend and perfect harmony between wood and grappa are achieved. This is how Le Diciotto Lune Marzadro is born, a refined grappa for meditation.
