The Pisco BARSOL is made from Quebranta grapes. Quebranta grapes are a variety of the "Uva Negra" originating from Spain and belong to the class of so-called non-aromatic grapes.

The Quebranta grape is the grape most commonly used in Pisco making, accounting for between 80 and 85% of the grapes used. Thus, the Quebranta grape stands for the typical Pisco taste.

BARSOL Quebranta presents a light bouquet with aromas of grapes, citrus fruits, rice wine and yeast on the nose. It feels pleasant in the mouth and is extremely refreshing with its subtle acidity.

At the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2007, BARSOL received the top grade "Top Pisco" and a double gold medal for its excellent quality and excellent taste.

BARSOL Quebranta is the ideal cast for the Peruvian cocktail Pisco Sour. It offers an optimal balance between fruitiness and intensity, and the Quebranta grape gives it the authentic pisco sour taste for which the cocktail has gained its excellent reputation.
