Slyrs Rum Finish Single Malt Whiskey 0.7l, 46% Vol

The Slyrs distillery has been producing single malt whiskey since 1999. In the beginning, the Lantenhammer distillery housed the production, from 2007 in its own premises in the immediate vicinity of the Schliersee. Since the beginning of 2022, Slyrs has been an independent company, which is now known beyond the German borders with a large number of different bottlings.

Slyr's Rum Finish matured in American white oak barrels for an undefined period of time and was then finished in rum barrels. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Sweet with caramel, vanilla, honey, beeswax and vanilla. Subtly smoky with toast and cedar.

Taste: Dry and strongly spicy with roasted aromas, orange peel, honey and lovage.
