The grapes come from the Quinta do Noval vineyard.
The grapes are trampled on foot to extract the must. The wine matures for at least 4 years in oak barrels instead of 2 years for a Classic Vintage.
Hence the name “Late Bottled Vintage”. Longer aging in barrels contributes to a softer wine and gives it its very approachable style, ready to drink immediately after bottling.
A deep color with a fruity, intense bouquet. An explosion of red fruit on the palate with a solid tannic structure and a long, smooth finish.
